Showcase

Tuesday, December 8 at Braly Gallery

Selected spots premiere at Braly Gallery in downtown Los Angeles, as part of LeyLine's “Human & Machine” holiday showcase.

What you make

A portfolio-ready vertical commercial, up to 60 seconds. The brief sets the length.

Real briefs from downtown Los Angeles businesses, nonprofits and showcase sponsors arrive around session 3. Several students pitch each brief and the client picks one. Everyone else finishes their spot on the same brief or on a practice brief, so every student ends the five sessions with a finished commercial.

Selected sponsor spots are delivered by December 4 and premiere at the December 8 showcase.

Who should take it

Filmmakers moving into brand work

You can already make things. In five sessions you learn how a brief, a pitch and a client shape a commercial.

Agency and production people

You know the business and want AI production inside it. Hafeez covers the agency side and Alexander covers AI production.

Creators who want paying brand clients

A finished vertical commercial, up to 60 seconds and made to a brief, is the portfolio piece a client can judge you on.
